Pet care template

Caring for a pet is above all consistency across tasks that repeat at different rhythms: food and walks are daily, baths and nails now and then, the parasite treatment once a month and the vet every so often. The daily ones do not get forgotten, but the spaced-out ones do, and those are exactly the ones that hurt most if skipped, like deworming or a vaccine.

This template gathers all the care in one place so nothing slips past you, especially if more than one person handles it at home and it is easy to assume the other already did it. It works for a dog, a cat or any animal, adjusting the tasks and their frequency to what yours needs.

These are the tasks the template includes:

• Put out food and fresh water every day
• Take them for a daily walk at their usual time
• Clean the litter box or cage regularly
• Brush their coat to avoid knots
• Give a bath when needed, without overdoing it
• Trim their nails when they grow

How it works in Foco
