Planning a wedding means coordinating a lot of people, a lot of vendors and a lot of deadlines at once, almost always while still working and living your life. The big decisions set everything else: without a date and a budget you cannot lock the venue, and without a venue there is no catering or invitations. When all of this floats around in chats and notes, it is easy for a vendor to stay unconfirmed until it is too late.
This template gathers the big decisions and the small details in one place, from the I do to the last dance, so the couple can move months ahead and reach the big day calm. It is built to be shared: each person takes charge of their part and both see where everything stands.
From I do to the last dance
These are the tasks the template brings, in the order it makes sense to close them:
- Set date and budget, the base for everything else
- Choose and book the venue
- Lock in catering and menu (including allergies)
- Hire photographer and video
- Send invitations early enough to get RSVPs
- Choose outfits and plan the fittings
- Book music or DJ
- Prepare the guest list and the seating
- Arrange guest transport
- Confirm details with each vendor the week before
How it works in Foco
On import, Foco creates the "Wedding" job with these tasks in the List view, grouped by date so you see what is due this month and what lies ahead. You tick each one off as you close it and the project stops living in one person's head.
You can assign each task to one of you, set reminders so you do not run late on invitations or fittings, and store a vendor's quote as a voice note or photo inside its task to compare later.
